It’s been a while since I uploaded a new song. This is, I think, the first new track since February this year. There’s been some re-releases, but new music has been a little light on. Sorry about that – I’ve had a bit going on. I’ve been writing, I’m always writing, but not recording much. But, well, I’m back! So here’s a track I wrote earlier in the year and finally got around to finishing.

I don’t really care anymore
Now that you’re gone
I don’t really think of you
Now that we’re done

When I opened my eyes
To finally see
There was a cruel minded woman
Looking back at me

I won’t be sad anymore
Now that you’re gone
I’ll find my smile again
Now I’m moving on

When I opened my mind
To what had been
I saw cold hearted woman
And a fool of a man

But I don’t really care

If I tell myself these lies
Maybe I’ll believe
If I can fool myself
(If I can fool myself)
You’ll lose your power over me
If I tell myself these words
Over and over I’ll harden my heart
I can finally let it go
(Finally let it go)
It’s better left alone

‘Cause I don’t really care

When I opened my heart
So I could feel once again
I saw a sad empty woman
(I finally let you go)
Where once you had been

But I don’t really care
No I don’t really care
Oh no, no, no, no, no
